Hours: 70 hours Bi-weekly

THE OPPORTUNITY


The Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Heart & Stroke NB will collaborate with the Marketing team to maintain our online presence, engage with the community, and contribute to digital and graphic initiatives. This role will lead data collection and analysis, identifying opportunities for content improvement and fundraising. Additionally, the coordinator will play a key role in planning and developing impactful lived experience stories and stakeholder content. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual to kickstart their career in a meaningful environment.


RESPONSIBILITES


Digital and Graphic Support:

• Assist in maintaining and updating the website with current and relevant information.

• Support the scheduling and posting of engaging content on social media platforms.

• Contribute to basic graphic design projects using Adobe Creative Suite.


Community Engagement:

• Participate in community engagement campaigns, representing the foundation at events and fundraisers.

• Support the foundation's visibility by actively engaging with the community.


Data Collection and Analysis:

• Collect data from social media channels and website analytics to assess performance.

• Analyze data to identify gaps in content delivery, program requirements, and fundraising opportunities.


Planning and Development of Stakeholder Stories:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and develop compelling lived experience stories.

• Curate and create content that resonates with our community, highlighting the impact of our programs.


Communication and Collaboration:

• Monitor and respond to digital/social comments and messages, fostering a positive online presence.

• Collaborate with internal teams and other departments to contribute creative ideas and support cross-departmental projects.


QUALIFICATIONS


• Bilingual proficiency in English & French an asset.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).

• Experience with content managements systems (CMS)/website builders.

• Eagerness to learn and contribute to graphic design projects.

• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana).

• Strong writing and storytelling skills

• Ability to plan and develop compelling lived experience stories and other stakeholder content.

• Enthusiastic about representing the foundation at public events and engaging with the community.
