AED Placements
Heart & Stroke NB has placed more than 540 AEDs throughout the province, resulting in 21 saved lives. We continue to make AEDs more accessible in public spaces.
Provincial Research
Heart & Stroke NB aids provincial researchers via the Cardiovascular Research Endowment Fund, established in 2017, ensuring sustainable funding and capacity building for cardiovascular research in New Brunswick.

Transmissions from the climb
Brian Jones' incredible journey to climb Mount Everest has ended earlier than expected due to health concerns. After an impressive effort, making it passed base camp 3 and only a mile short of the summit, Brian encountered challenges related to his heart condition, Atrial fibrillation. This led to his decision to end the climb early.
Despite this setback, Brian's determination and courage have left a lasting impact. While he is disappointed he couldn't reach the summit, we're immensely proud of his efforts to support our cause. So far, Expedition Heart has raised $28,225 towards our $100,000 goal and fundraising continues. Brian's journey may have ended, but his spirit to take action and inspire others continues.
